jörg was born in 1964 in munich, germany.

in 1990, after an apprenticeship as a photographic lab technician and 3 years of assisting with various advertising photographers, he started working as a freelance photographer with a studio in cork.

jörg started his own commercial photography business in 1991, which grew steadily to one of the busiest studios in the country.

in 2002 he moved to his new purpose built studio in tower, co.cork.
